Sonal Chauhan, a model and newbie in the film industry, was born on May 16th 1985 in Bulandhshahpur in Uttar Pradesh. She is one of the four children of a police inspector. She has an elder brother and two younger sisters.
She did her schooling at DPS Noida and graduated with a degree in Philosophy from Gargi College, New Delhi.

Sonal was a Ms.India contestant and though she didn’t get that crown on her head, she did win the Miss World Tourism 2005 in Malaysia. We’ve seen her in commercials likes Ponds, Nokia, LG, Reliance CDMA, Hero Honda Passion and also in Himesh Reshammiya’s music video from his album Aap Ka Suroor.

2009 She is shooting for the sequel Raaz – The Mystery Continues with Emraan Hashmi and Kangana Ranaut. That’s just the beginning. She also has a Hollywood movie Final Life and a Kannada movie with Shivraajkumar called Cheluveya Ninna Nodalu to be out in theaters this year.

Elin Maria Pernilla Nordegren, born on January 1, 1980 is the wife of professional golfer Tiger Woods.She worked as a store clerk, model and an au pair before her marriage.

Previously, Woods had asked for a year to be introduced to Nordegren, who was seeing someone else at the time. "There was a big line of single golfers wanting to meet her. Shazahn Padamsee

Shazahn Padamsee is 21 year old Indian theater actor and model. She is the daughter of renowned ad guru cum theater personality Alyque Padamsee and pop diva Sharon Prabhakar.

Shazahn will make silver screen debut as lead actress opposite Ranbir Kapoor in an upcoming Yash Raj Films production Rocket Singh Salesman of the Year directed by Shimit Amin.

Shazahn, who has been auditioning for several roles for quite some time, is reported have clinched the lead role opposite Ranbir Kapoor in an upcoming Yash Raj Films production Rocket Singh directed by Shimit Amin.

Sources reveal that though many heroines auditioned, the crew selected Shazahn, who, according to them, has the right credentials. “For a long time, Yash Raj has been auditioning actors for the leading lady’s role. There are very few young actors who would fit the bill of a leading lady opposite Ranbir. After weeks of auditioning, it seems that Yash Raj has zeroed down on Shazahn Padamsee, thanks to her credentials,” a source said.

Sharon Prabhakar born on 9 April 1967 is an Indian pop singer, theatre personality and public speaker. She was an active singer in 1980s and 90s, with a total of seven albums to her credit.She was born in Mumbai.

She performed the part of Evita in the musical of the same title directed by the advertisement guru Alyque Padamsee.Her new album Dilruba released in August 2006. She has appeared as herself in a couple of Bollywood films apart from being playback singer for several songs.She married Alyque Padamsee but is now separated

Alyque Padamsee is an Indian theater personality, both as producer and actor. He is probably best-known in the English-speaking world for playing Muhammad Ali Jinnah in the film Gandhi.

Padamsee is well-known as an advertising professional. His career in advertising spans several decades. Padamsee recently participated as a panel speaker at the launch of a new book, Ayn Rand at 100, in Mumbai, commemorating Ayn Rand's centenary.

He was married to Pearl Padamsee by whom he has a daughter, Raell Padamsee; then to Dolly Thakore, mother of his son Quasar Padamsee, and later to Sharon Prabhakar by whom he has a daughter Shazahn Padamsee. All three women were connected with the performing arts.

Giant triangular 'UFO' filmed hovering above Kremlin

Hovering ominously over the city, this video of what appears to be a triangle-shaped UFO has left Russians baffled.

Sitting motionless in the sky above the Kremlin in Moscow, clips of the unexplained object have become the most-viewed videos on Russia's YouTube.

The two videos, one taken at night from a car and one during the day, were both filmed by amateurs.

The UFO hovered for hours over Red Square in the Russian capital and was seen by hundreds of people.The identity of the shape has not been confirmed but internet forums are buzzing with the sighting.The UFO appeared on December 9th, the same night that a mysterious blue spiral light appeared over Norway. That was later attributed to a failed rocket launch from Russia.

Some have likened the object to one of the spaceships from Star Wars.But others have said it is merely a reflection from inside the cameraman's car. If the object exists experts estimate that it could be up to a mile wide.Some commentators have reacted sceptically to the videos and have pointed out that if hundreds of people had seen the object more videos and photos would have emerged by now.

Russian reports ruled out a UFO but police have refused to comment.Nick Pope, a former Ministry of Defence UFO analyst, said it was 'one of the mostextraordinary UFO clips I've ever seen'.'At first I thought this was a reflection but it appears to move behind a power line, ruling out this theory.'A spokesman for aerospace journal Jane's News said: 'We have no idea what it is.'

3 Idiots

Three Idiots is a forthcoming Indian Bollywood film directed by Rajkumar Hirani, starring Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor, and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. Kajol will make a special appearance in the film.It is slated for a release on 25 December 2009.

Plot

Two friends (Madhavan and Sharman Joshi) embark on a quest for a lost buddy. On this journey, they encounter a long forgotten bet, a wedding they must crash and a funeral that goes impossibly out of control. As they make their way through the perilous landscape, another journey begins: their inner journey through memory lane and the story of their friend – the irrepressible free thinker Rancho (Aamir Khan), who in his unique way, touched and changed their lives. It's a story of their hostel days that swings between Rancho's romance with the spirited Pia (Kareena Kapoor), and his clash with an oppressive mentor, Viru Sahastrabudhhe (Boman Irani). Neetu Chandra born on 20 June 1984 in Bihar is an Indian theatre and film actress.

Neetu Chandra was born in Patna, Bihar, India. A resident of Patliputra Colony, Neetu did her schooling from from the Notre Dame Academy, Patna in 2000 , and dreamt of entering the modelling world. Neetu's father, a businessman, was initially reluctant to let her pursue a career in showbiz but her mother, Neera, stood by her. Not surprisingly, Neetu attributes her success to her mother, a native of East Champaran in Bihar. She has done dozens of ads and videos for reputed firms since her graduation days in Delhi's IP College, University of Delhi.

Before entering the Hindi film Industry, Neetu was an avid sportsperson. She is a black belt holder in Taekwondo. She has represented India in two different games, which is very rare. She has represented India in International Taekwondo Championship at Hong Kong in 1996 and represented India in World Korfball Championship in 1995 at New Delhi. She is a national games Silver Medal winner in Taek-won-do. After completing her basic education, she started her work with small print ad campaigns in Delhi. But her hard work and persevarance took her to the Hindi film Industry.

She entered film in 2005 in Garam Masala in which she portrayed Sweety, an airhostess.

In 2007 she appeared in Madhur Bhandarkar's film, Traffic Signal. In preparation Chandra in order to enter her character spent a whole week living on the streets of Mumbai and living by a traffic light.

Neetu Chandra also danced gracefully in a video album Rasiya Saajan for music director Ismail Darbar along with Zubeen Garg. The video was directed by noted video director S Ramachandran.

In the year 2008, she had four releases by Directors, Dibakar Banerjee, Rahul Dholakia, Ashwini Dheer and Vikram. Her Tamil film, Yavarum Nalam with Madhavan released this year and was declared a major hit.

Currently, Neetu is doing two major projects, one is Rann with Ram Gopal Varma and another one is Jag Mundhra's Apartment.

On 20 March 2008, a company named 7Seas Technologies announced that they will develop a 3D mobile game with Neetu Chandra playing the lead character. The game titled on her name Neetu (The Alien Killer), is based on a unique game story and revolves around the lead character killing different aliens. Neetu The Alien Killer Game Story: 3000 AD when more than half of the world was destroyed due to greenhouse effect. Atlanto City was captured by the Aliens, who came from the inner solar systems of the Andromeda galaxy. Thousands of Atlanto citizens were killed brutally. The Atlanto Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (ASETI) sends Neetu, a valiant and intelligent female and the only hope of the Atlantians, to redeem the Earth from the alien regime.

Neetu Chandra is the Life Member of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy Of Film & Television.

Neetu was on the cover of Maxim India on the January 2009 issue of the magazine.

In a recent interview with Delhi Times, she was quoted as saying "I'm ready to go nude for a James Cameron movie"

Her moment of fame, or notoriety if you will, came when she posed intimately with another female model for the cover of 'The Man' magazine, a leading men's lifestyle magazine in India. The shoot was objected by bystanders at Juhu beach in Mumbai where it was progressing, some of whom were said to belong to the right wing MNS, who raised slogans and said the shoot was 'promoting lesbianism' and 'against Indian culture'.

Neetu Chandra has also been signed as the brand ambassador for the Hoop, a Gitanjali brand. She has also finished shooting a commercial for Mysore Sandal Soap.

Delhi gets its first rail terminal

Delhi got its first railway terminal with Union railway minister Mamata Banerjee flagging off the Lucknow Winter Special from the Rakesh Chopra, railway board (engineering), said the terminal was the railways' first attempt to create a world-class facility. With a separate parcel loading facility, two escalators and six lifts, the station will have a special heritage gallery and custom-made subways which can be used by physically-challenged passengers.

Banerjee stressed on the need to decongest stations."A huge number of trains enter Delhi and this terminal will help in easing traffic,'' she said. The minister said the terminal was "a New Year gift'' to Delhiites and designed keeping in mind the Commonwealth Games. "For all those who reside on this side of the Yamuna, it is time to proclaim that you too own a modern railway station. Anand Vihar, being strategically located, will serve the needs of NCR,'' Banerjee said.

The minister said a special Commonwealth Express will be flagged off which will travel across the country to popularise the sporting event. "The Vision 2020 plan for Delhi includes completion of two dedicated freight corridors and construction of an auto hub on a railway land near the capital."Delhi has seen only 10% of our work. The remaining 90% will be completed before the Commonwealth Games,'' Banerjee said.

Chief minister Sheila Dikshit thanked Banerjee for the terminal."It was Banerjee who was instrumental in passing the Metro project for Delhi in her earlier stint as railway minister. This new terminal will be of immense help to the 10 lakh people coming to the capital each day since the trains will take load off road traffic. The Anand Vihar terminal is also another feather in our cap. After the Metro, the rest of Delhi is envying people residing in the east.

Banerjee also flagged off a winter special train to Lucknow from Anand Vihar and a 15-coach EMU from Delhi to Panipat (through remote control). The second ladies' special train to Ghaziabad was also flagged off. "Since the UPA chairperson, the President, the speaker and now even the leader of opposition is a woman, we may soon need a male special train for commuters," Banerjee said.

The Rs 85-crore terminal project was originally scheduled for inauguration in 2007, but skipped many deadlines. "The new terminal will cater to over three lakh people in full capacity and handle over 250-odd trains," a railway official said.

New Faces of Bollywood

Mahie Gill: She may well hold the record for being a debutante with the most number of releases in a single year. First, she managed to catch everyone's attention as the new age Paro in Dev D, a modern-day take on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's novel Devdas. Later, she impressed in Anurag Kashyap's next film Gulaal. She is a complete natural and one would love to see more of her. She also featured in the duds Aagey Se Right and Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas.

Kalki Koechlin: Born to French parents Kalki as a modern day Chandramukhi showed how to get the sensuality in place in Dev D. Good acting skills did not harm her cause.

Giselle Monteiro: She was the hidden treasure for the entire team of Love Aaj Kal. With her identity being unveiled only after the release of the film, she made countrywide news once it was declared that she was a Brazilian in the garb of a Punjabi soni kudi.

Sheena Shahabadi: For Sheena, what worked most was the author-backed role that she got in Tere Sang. Playing a 15-year-old who was looking at exploring life to the fullest, she was easily the star of the show and came up with a bravura act that made Tere Sangbelievable.

Shruti Haasan: If there was one quintessential Bollywood material that arrived in 2009, it was Shruti Haasan. However, the really poor script ofLuck ruined the pretty girl's chances of starting off her Bollywood outing with a smash hit. She has the body, the looks and the attitude. All she needs now is another good opportunity on a decent enough platform.

Nausheen Ali Sardar: In a small film, Three - Love, Lies, Betrayal, which unfortunately went totally unnoticed, Nausheen made a good switch from TV (Kkusum) to the big screen. Her role demanded her to look sad and worn out in every scene, but she didn't complain. However, she didn't miss a chance when she found a good stage to demonstrate histrionics, especially during the final moments of the film.

Jacqueline Fernandes: Jacqueline's task was pretty much cut out in Aladin. She had to look good and this is where her Miss Sri Lanka crown came in handy. Moreover, she was indeed good in the couple of scenes where she was required to mouth dialogues in addition to just smiling. Just like Katrina Kaif who started off her career with her good looks and fair acting capabilities, Jacquline too has a future in Bollywood.
